REUTERS/Leonhard Foeger/ File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsLONDON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Ross Brawn is tipping a resurgent McLaren to take the fight to dominant Red Bull and triple world champion Max Verstappen next season. So, I think with that improvement going into next season they can be a real threat. Brawn was also optimistic Ferrari would improve under Fred Vasseur's guidance but recognised Red Bull would not be standing still and had the added benefit of being able to switch attention early to next year's car. Red Bull have so far won 19 of 20 races, with Verstappen triumphant 17 times -- a record for a single season that he can extend in Las Vegas this weekend -- and team mate Sergio Perez twice. I think sometimes when you get a team dominating you'd hope that both drivers would be fighting each other and that hasn't happened with Red Bull, which is a shame," said Brawn.

CNN —Max Verstappen was crowned Formula One world champion for the third time, securing the title in the sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix on Saturday. Super proud of the job of the team,” Max Verstappen told Sky Sports. A dominant seasonMax Verstappen celebrates his third world title. When such an impressive car is driven by one of the all-time greats, which Verstappen now is, it is sporting alchemy. Only five other drivers have won more world titles: Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel.

Since then, I've worked on 20 different superyachts in Asia, in the Caribbean, and in the Mediterranean. The yachts I've worked on have personal submarines, helipads, and spas. Dinner reservations can fall through, or once they get to the restaurant, the yacht owners may decide the vibes are off and that they no longer want to eat there. But I don't just cook for the owners, the guests, and the crew — sometimes, I cook for the owner's pets. I get my jobs through word of mouth, but to help people who are starting out to connect with other yacht chefs, I launched thesuperyachtchef.com in 2019.

Still dreaming Correa has sights set on Formula One

[1/4] Formula One F1 - Belgian Grand Prix - Spa-Francorchamps, Spa, Belgium - August 27, 2020 Juan Manuel Correa visits the place where he was injured in an accident in a Formula 2 race last year that also killed Anthoine Hubert. "Before the accident I sort of felt if I didn't make it to F1 my life would be ruined," Correa told Reuters in a phone interview. In what has been a career reboot, Correa said the focus needed to get back on the track had made him stronger mentally. There is no looking into the rear view mirrors for Correa, only what is ahead and he sees a path to Formula One. But I am convinced I have what it takes to succeed in Formula One.

Haas F1 boss Steiner plays it by the book
  + stars: | 2023-04-20 | by ( Alan Baldwin | ) www.reuters.com   time to read: +3 min
LONDON, April 20 (Reuters) - Haas boss Guenther Steiner has famously not watched the Netflix 'Drive to Survive' docu-series that made him a cult hero for a new wave of Formula One fans, but he has read every word of 'Surviving to Drive'. If they feel happy, I’m happy for them," said Steiner. He came back in 2005 when Red Bull bought the Jaguar team but then moved to NASCAR, returning to F1 when Haas debuted in 2016. RARE EXAMPLEThe book is a rare example of an active F1 boss putting his thoughts into print, however forthright and uncomplimentary. Ralf Schumacher, brother of seven times world champion Michael and uncle of Haas's dropped former driver Mick, is unlikely to enjoy it.
ABU DHABI, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Seven-times world champion Lewis Hamilton said on Thursday that he expected his old rival Sebastian Vettel to make a Formula One comeback. The 35-year-old four-times champion is bowing out of the sport after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday but Hamilton believes the 53-time grand prix race winner will find the lure of F1 hard to resist. "Obviously after the change from Ferrari to Aston Martin at that time it was the first time I really thought it might be the time to stop...," he added. Vettel jokingly suggested he could agree some sort of a swap with Hamilton, who turns 38 in January but is keen on extending his Mercedes deal. "We can make a deal ... when you want to get away, maybe then (I want to come back)," he said.
